We just got a hiking pack so Naomi would be more comfortable going for a "ride" on daddy.  She loved it and lasted a full 45 minutes (not bad for a toddler)!

Naomi seems to have gotten poison oak while camping.  Growing up in my family, when we were sick we always got a 'Barbie' - some type of treat to lift our spirits.   So here is Naomi with her first 'Barbie':

What we do when we don't have to work

When we got back from camping, we had a day and a half before we had to go back to work.  And we definitely made the most of it!  Here's what Naomi got up to:

Fun in Unexpected Places

This weekend, we hauled Naomi around to a playdate, a birthday party, two different parks, and had a music class.  Despite all the organized fun, one of the highlights of the weekend was just hanging out on this bench outside a coffee shop:

Playing in the Park

Thanks to warmer weather, longer days, and Naomi's increased need for space to romp around in, we've been at the park almost every day lately.  While we don't have much of a yard, we are lucky to have a great park wtihin walking distance and many others within such a short drive.  When I ask Naomi if she wants to go to the park , she even answers with a "yeah!

Naomi Hits the Slopes!

Naomi took her first trip to Tahoe last weekend for my company's annual ski trip.  Based on what friends had told me, I'd assumed she'd be too little to really enjoy the snow but I was wrong.  I think we have a future dare devil on our hands!

Grocery Shopping

Our weekend

Naomi ran the roads this wknd!
On Friday, she went to Little Farm (petting zoo in berkeley) and while she loved looking at the animals, she wasn't quite ready to touch them. Later, we went to the library to get some new books (or "bo" according to Naomi), since reading is her favorite thing to do.

On Saturday, visited the Oakland Zoo for the first time. And on Sunday, we went to see my friend Krista and meet her new baby, Cole. Here are a few pictures:
